Why Coco Road?
We are one of the few global coconut brands with our own farms and manufacturing facilities, able to pack our coconut water, milk and desiccated coconut at source. Most other brands contract-out production. Because we are integrated we can offer fresher products direct to our consumers at a better price.
We have always prided ourselves on our quality. We are happy to pay a premium to our thousands of farmers, in order to ensure we get the best quality coconuts. This also benefits our farmers who are able to make a better living.
Our farmers are trained to grow coconut palms with the least environmental impact. We support them through our Fair Trade and Organic initiatives ensuring that all they grow is 100% sustainable. We also never use palm oil in any of our products.
Who Are We?
Coco Road is a family-owned business. We have been making coconut products for the last 70 years. We are based in the tropical Islands of the Philippines. Our family has been at this for 4 generations, way before Rihanna or Madonna made coconut water cool.
We are one of the few fully integrated producers that delivers coconut water, milk, and desiccated coconut directly from our own farms and factories to our customers around the World. That is why we always win on price and quality.
Sustainable By Nature
Coconuts are indigenous to the Philippine archipelago of over 7,100 islands. It is a unique environment specifically adapted for coconut trees given the volcanic nature of the soil and the salt from the Pacific ocean.
Coconut trees have a symbiotic relationship with the environment. Coconut trees are endemic and are naturally found in the wild rainforests of the Philippines. All our coconuts are organic. We only use organic fertilizers and organic pesticides.
Our coconuts are not just good for the environment. They are also a lifeline to the rural communities across the Philippines, many of which have no other industry. Coconuts provide hundreds of thousands of people with livelihoods. All our coconuts are Fair Trade, meaning a portion of every product you buy from us goes directly to helping farming communities across the country. These farming communities have spend these proceeds on rural healthcare, education, replanting programs, intercropping, livestock rearing and many other self-directed initiatives.
